Evolution in Persian Schools

Biology education in Iran has been censored for decades. The theory of evolution, the unifying theory of all biology, is often watered down or dismissed to fit religious narratives. This does a disservice to millions of students who are denied a fundamental understanding of life.

To build a scientific society, we must teach facts without fear. We must celebrate Darwin just as we celebrate Avicenna. Evolution is not just a theory; it is the history of us. Denying it is denying our own origins.
